However, this thinking is flawed. Lottery playing often leads to covetousness, which is prohibited in the Bible by the commandments \u201cThou shalt not covet thy neighbour\u2019s house, his wife, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that is thy neighbour\u2019s” (Exodus 20:17).
